Nice useful tool.
Doesn't work
I am grateful for this wonderful plugin. I hope that they will make this friendly for use in online classes, so that I wont have to write my posts in word first to get my references into my homework assignments.
I really like this extension when it works! Mendeley is a great service, however this plugin can be a bit difficult to work with as it often loads with ~90% of the Mendeley panel beyond the right edge of the Chrome window with no way to recover, and requires a full reboot to restore... for a while. This bug has existed for eons, not sure why.
I love this product...when it works. Often the button doesn't connect to download a PDF and it often pulls the incorrect information.
I have the same problem... it's not working anymore can you fix it? otherwise I have to look for another program to organize my literature
I just start usin this tool. I have been using Zotero but someone recomended Mendelay and I gave it a try. Not really happy so far. I can make it ge a Web site on the references, I have to do it manually...
keep asking for signing in each time loading a page.
works very well!
Changing from 1 ---> 5 stars! I figured out the problem: Privacy Badger! (Don't take me wrong, privacy badger is awesome, but it was blocking the Mendeley extension.) IF you are EXPERIENCING ISSUES, check whether you have any kind of CONTENT BLOCKER running -- Ad Blocker, Privacy Badger, etc --, IT MAY BE THE SOURCE of the issue. It was in my case. To check if you *-blocker is the source of the Mendeley extension misfunction, load any pdf (from arxiv.org, for example) in a new Tab and click the Mendeley extension icon. At this moment, a popup window should open on your right (as shown in this page's "Overview" tab), if it doesn't OR it appear blank, check if your *-blocker has blocked something: usually *-block extensions will change either its color or the icon itself whenever it is blocking content... Anyhow, you got the idea ;) Cool.
