*NOTE* Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Sorry about that!

*NOTE* Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. Really all it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. Don't be alarmed. Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data. Read the open source code if you're curious.

For more information about rebinding your keys and how to use many of Vimium's features, see here: https://github.com/philc/vimium/blob/master/README.md

Modifier keys are specified as , , for ctrl+x, meta+x, and alt+x respectively.

While it did make some navigation easier and smoother the Vim way, it would be nice to be able to open textboxes in an external editor (i.e. vim).

Vimium requires that Javascript is enabled on every page. This is an absolute no-go, since I turn off Javascript by default. Maybe vimium does not pose a risk, but the webpage itself can take full advantage of javascript. Thanks, but other extensions such as Vimfx (not available for Chromium) work better - without Javascript.

you should really change the x(close current tab) to some other one more complicated. Like the default command+w. There's a reason to make shortcut like this with two press.

Vimium is awesome! I love having vim bindings for essentially everything and now I never need to take my hands off the keyboard. One this I think would be awesome would be to be able to toggle vimium on/off without doing exceptions. Just the way you can temporarily disable adblock by clicking on the icon.

This is brilliant! Vim is my text editor, and now this is my browser. Everything I was hoping for when I searched for Vim-style shortcuts for Chrome, plus a lot more than I was hoping for. Now my browser is perfect.

Great extension, but some search systems take a focus for search field, and this doesn't work, is it possible to fix in a new versions? Thanks.
