*NOTE* Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Sorry about that!

*NOTE* Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. Really all it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. Don't be alarmed. Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data. Read the open source code if you're curious.

For more information about rebinding your keys and how to use many of Vimium's features, see here: https://github.com/philc/vimium/blob/master/README.md

Modifier keys are specified as , , for ctrl+x, meta+x, and alt+x respectively.

Hm doesn't work so well for me. The shortcuts often do not work and there are way to less features. @Ryan, did you try Pentadactyl (former Vimperator) for Firefox? This is the only true vim browser in my eyes and the lack of such an addon is more or less the reason why I stick to Firefox although i really like Chrome.

Great extension, can't live without it. I'm missing how Insert mode is supposed to be working though. Another feature I'd like to see is to open selected text in a new tab. This is same as copying it into clipboard and then using P, but better have a single key for that.

I think you can add such shortcuts as opening a new url(not link) in current tab o r in a new tab

Your extension changed my life. Thank you for this great tool. I would like to be able to zoom in/out with the 'z/Z' key for example. I don't like having to move from the home row for that.

Just started using it. Searching with '/' is probably my favorite feature until now. It would be great to be able to search regexp! Navigation with vi key bindings is also really helpful.

Vimium is awesome because of the Vim-like shortcuts, which work pretty well, I must say. However, the only problem for me is that it stops working on the tab where a page fails to load. Other than that its pretty slick.

I am not sure if anyone has already mentioned this: press x to close tab sometimes closes all my tabs. It happened at least 3 times.

Pretty good tool. I wish gt (move to next tab) currently I am unable to use gt command when gmail tab is on.

All in all, pretty excellent extension. It is totally awesome how you can remap things! My only issue is the several DOM elements that get injected at the top of the body for each page.. Makes inspecting a little annoying. I wish that it came after everything in the body instead of before.. Other than that, great job.

I no longer have any need to use a different browser - thanks to Vimium! :)
