*NOTE* Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Sorry about that!

*NOTE* Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. Really all it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. Don't be alarmed. Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data. Read the open source code if you're curious.

For more information about rebinding your keys and how to use many of Vimium's features, see here: https://github.com/philc/vimium/blob/master/README.md

Modifier keys are specified as , , for ctrl+x, meta+x, and alt+x respectively.

Doesn't work well on slow internet connections because it doesn't let you use the keyboard shortcuts if you are on a page that hasn't loaded. For example, if I open a webpage with "f" and then it's taking a while to load, I want to switch back to my previous tab until it's finished. But I can't do that, because my keyboard shortcuts are frozen or something. Very annoying.

I have been using this extension for well over a year now and I must say this extension is amazing. Like vim, you start with just a few hotkeys, and suddenly all the terrible websites around the internet that would be completely impossible to navigate otherwise. I use this in my IT job at a university with several websites that require you to press on a tiny login link buried in other links. Wtih the 'f' command navigating around link heavy websites like youtube and any amount of news articles. With all of these features you would think this was a super heavy extension that cause slow-down and instability while interacting with other apps. While there can definitely be some confusion when people are using my computer and they accidentally press on a command that will start some complex function (the 'f' command comes to mind, I have definitely had people get startled at a screen full of yellow letter options). but this extensions works on a most websites around the web. It's difficult to learn at first, but it has improved my efficiency more than any of my other extensions

simply genius! integrates well with chrome, I would even recommend this for non-vimmers, as it is easy to learn and makes your workflow so much more efficient, especially when working on a laptop. Only drawback still is that it foes not work quite everywhere - I'd especially be very happy if it would be possible wo integrate into PDF reading using Chrome. Still, one if not the best extension available for Chrome. Very well done, thank you so much!
