I'm not sure what all of the fuss is about. You really don't want to be able to access your tokens from the web browser. You're creating another "point of failure." The less avenues for someone to be able to access your 2fa tokens, the better. To the dude who said, "So if I don't have my phone at hand, I am SOL." -- why in the world would your phone not be near you? In any case, if it isn't for some weird reason, I also have the app on my Apple Watch. This is much easier than quickly trying to open my phone and hope I type the token fast enough before the timer runs out and have to type in the new one. Step 1: Login to website Step 2: Website asks for 2fa token Step 3: Use either shortcut (kb shortcut is faster. I set mine to CTRL-SHFT-X) or click the extension icon on the toolbar. Step 4: Open the PUSH notification on your phone and select the website, then it gets auto-filled out in your web browser and you're done. It goes by super fast, less than 10 seconds. It's open source so the code can be audited. It's on both iOS, watchOS, and Android (unsure about wearOS). You can export and import your tokens. You can back them up to cloud. This is all free and it works perfectly. If you want an extension that autofills your tokens, go support Bitwarden and give them $10 for the premium feature, they deserve it. Otherwise, deal with the 10 seconds it takes for this extension to do its wonderful job. The only con I can think of is having to make the extension recognize I need a token so we have to either click the extension icon or use the kb shortcut. I'm not even sure if it's possible for an extension to recognize a website is asking for a 2FA request or not, but if its, having that process automated would be a nice QoL update. Either way, it took me too long to remember this extension existed, I wish I had downloaded it 2 years ago.
Garbage. It brings up app in mobile phone then does nothing. What's the point?
Tavsiye ederim.
Still requires you to use your phone every time, what is the point then?
Just giving a 5 star as well as this does exactly what it says it should do
脫褲子放屁的軟體,還需要智慧型手機二次確認,顯得很機車
Sorry but this is exactly what I would not want from an extension. Was hoping this would allow me to see and copy token codes rather than perform tricks in order to eventually paste wrong account's token into the login screen after having to deal with popups on Android. This is by no way quicker or easier than already existing solutions from Redmond or Mountain View.
just giving 5 stars to rate it up, because this application really deserves it I don't a better free solution than this
I wish the browser extension allowed you to view all of your 2FA codes and copy any one of them by clicking a button next to it, essentially being a mirror of the phone app. Right now it's too inconvenient, doesn't always recognize a text field and only works in the browser. If you won't make a dedicated desktop app, at least allow us to view all our codes in the extension, or else what's the point of having it? Still better than Authy though, and I'll be glad to update my review if the devs satisfy this request.
I find it great that it send PUSH to your mobile instead of having to type in the code.
