Frustrating, it starts and stops routinely. I do not think Chrome plays nice with certain extensions.... Random stopping and starting frustrates the utility of Dragon NaturallySpeaking which is otherwise a most excellent program and resource.
Come on Nuance! Fix this web extension for Chrome and Firefox. It never works – ever. Every time I surf the Internet I am reminded that for some reason, my browser thinks that the web extension is not installed, when it is clearly there in the list of add-ons, but just doesn't work. This really needs fixing as a matter of urgency. It's time IT companies like you offered better customer service, rather than platforms for grumpy customers like me to wonder who else has the problem, whilst nobody every gets it fixed. Just not good enough. The Dragon Program is fine, but it's integration with commands and dictation on the web is non-existent.

This extension literally did nothing when I tried it. For browsing the web using Dragon, the Safari extension did work, although it's a bit unreliable. With Chrome, I eventually solved the problem with the extension Vimium, which lets you control Chrome with the keyboard. You can then use Dragon with those keyboard shortcuts. I hope this helps somebody.
It's not clear what this does. It lets you dictate at least the commands "click <link name>" and the browser will then click that link. Please note that it is broken, and does not work in many textboxes. You need to dictate into a TEXT window then cut and paste it into Chrome. (Although ironically it is working in this text box.) Nuance will not fix this. They have not fixed this in years. And unfortunately the windows transcription system is much worse than Nuance. So, Nuance is still the best game in town even though it has this critical bug.
Dragon does not work with the search bar. Also there are many areas while web browsing that Dragon does not work with.
As you see with many other reviews, every time you remove chrome from your screen or restart your computer's the web extension simply disappears. Occasionally, it goes away on a random basis. When is working it works. When it is not it is almost like a random letter generator. It stopped working completely now. If anyone's reading this, you need to check out Windows 10 new speech generator. It is getting closer to Dragon all the time and it is free.
