I can't give Dragon NaturallySpeaking any stars for working in chrome or Microsoft Edge because it does not work in those applications. I've uninstalled it and installed. The work for a while but then it will stop working in those applications. I selected the one-stop because it would not allow me to post without posting one star.
Dragon extension is unusable for most part with the latest Google Chrome (version: 130.0.6723.XXX). The problem is very noticeable in Website with contents such as YouTube or even Amazon and similar webpages. Basic voice commands takes a long time for the software to process and often become unresponsive. The extension also slows down regular browsing on those sites including interfering with mouse and keyboard inputs (inputs become unresponsive). Browser input problem related to the extension can be resolved by removing (or disabling) the extension from Chrome. The problem is not very visible with simple webpages.
The browser extension crashes multiple times a day and I have to delete and reinstall it every time. It is supposed to make me more productive, but it does the exact opposite.
Liebe Softwareentwickler, es ist einfach nervig, wenn ich Chrome öffne und Dragon geöffnet ist, dass ich immer wieder gefragt werde, ob ich die Erweiterung wieder verwenden will, obwohl die Erweiterung installiert ist. Einfach nur nervig. Und dann funktioniert Dragon unter Chrome mit Verzögerung oder manchmal auch garnicht.... Ach so, eine Antwort und die Fehlerbehebung erfolgt ja sowieso nicht. Noch eine Punkteabzug.
j'ai mis une étoile parce que on peut pas mettre zéro même problème que les autres se désactive tout le temps... c'est désagréable et pénible le but c'est de mettre moins d'étoile pour baisser encore la note ... qui sait peut être que ca réveillera le constructeur !
Ich ärgere mich jeden Morgen aufs neue! Das Plugin in funktioniert nicht und ich muss erst WordPad oder ein Tool von Dragon öffnen, um dann mit Kopieren per ist aufwendig die Texte zu transferieren. Ich weiß nicht was daran für die Profi-Nerds so schwer ist zu programmieren dass es reibungslos funktioniert... Das ist wirklich wirklich schlecht!
Die Dragon Weberweiterung ist leider eine Katastrophe geworden. So wie man die Software im Chrome Browser nutzen möchte, reagiert sie überhaupt nicht. Auch die Installation der neusten Visual C++ Redistributables hat leider nichts genutzt. Sehr schade.
I, too, gave up using Word / Outlook and Google using Dragon - However, I now have the Dragon 16 Pro and that works without crashing anything. Looking at the other negative reviews, I will add that customer services have always been super helpful and also if you have lost a disk - there is a download site (https://download.nuance.com/) - It could not be simpler.

Based on the reviews below, I was worried about installing this extension. Have to say, I have had absolutely no problems. To the contrary, it has greatly improved my ability to use this extension within Google Chrome. not sure if it makes a difference but I use the nuance PowerMic and have also installed the PowerMic extension. Together, dictation is faster, more accurate and I enjoy the ability to be able to correct dictation errors within Google Chrome. I have had no issues with crashing or any other problems.
