Used to work, but this new versions SUCKS! I get so many ads even with in cranked to the highest settings. Do better.
if you just used uBlock Origin for blocking ads, this will get the job done as well, 10/10 would reccommend

Its definitely a great extension, especially got rid of the irritation that I had after the UBLOCK ORIGIN was not supported anymore
It sometimes completely freezes chrome for around 10-20s, and makes the tab close itself, in certain websites using Basic mode by default. it happens often. Must have happened 3 times in the last hour for me. Between this and the interface, the extension looks pretty rushed. Maybe Google didn't warn about the policy changes early enough idk. Hope they sort it out soon. I will edit this review once it's fixed.

Why would google delete such a good extension? God those ads were overwhelming and I kept seeing them everywhere. Thank goodness there was a second extension. Btw Ublock Origin Lite immediately skips ads on YouTube so idk what's happening with you guys
