as of right now youtube is now using built in ads into the browser. ublock cannot detect these or remove them. brave browser, chrome, firefox, and a few others seem to be having the same if not worse issue

Anyone leaving more negative reviews because they miss the features that full-fat uBlock Origin had are getting upset at the wrong people. This extension has to conform to Google's new API, it wasn't the ad blocker devs that decided to hamper their own product. Also, there's an easy solution: Switch to Firefox. You can still use full-fat uBlock Origin there because Firefox has no intention of removing the old API, unlike Google. As for this extension, as I've experienced, it does what it's supposed to with flying colors. I don't recommend using the internet without an ad blocker anymore, and if you're using Chrome, this is the one to use. ETA: My initial statement applies to the extension not being able to block all YouTube ads all the time as well. This isn't the developers' fault; this, too, is Google's fault. And this, too, can be solved by switching to Firefox.
