High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

Great extention. I am able to see the "star" in the Gmail screen better when I use this extention. (Increased Contrast Option) The only problem, is that it creates a long scroll bar in some sites. Oh and it crashes Chrome quite often too. However the clarity it gives to the web pages is so useful, that I patiently restart chrome and continue with my work despite the crashes. So guys, go ahead and use it.
Love the speed when I open a new tab. I have one bug to report and one feature request. The bug: when it's turned on (I normally use inverted grayscale) and I print, it makes the page huge, like if I try to print one page, it instead prints the page and then like 86 sheets of pitch black paper. Pretty wasteful on a color laser printer. Also, the text on the one page with content is inverted. Not only that, the text quality in this inverted state is so poor to be unusable. Instead, it should disable itself when a user prints. This way no unnecessary paper is wasted, and the print is made "normally" with a white background and black text, with the same text quality as with the extension disabled. The feature request: Please add a mode to change the white background to black, and all the colors on the page be untouched. That would be awesome. Thank you for this wonderful extension! It inverts the image colours too. I wish there was an option to invert the text only. It also Causes problem for the scrollbar.

yes, a lot of blank space on web pages. Another bug is when opening a New Tab it is hanging and loading CPU a lot! Switching to another page or entering and going to a particular site fixes it. But with this crap, I can't use most frequently visited sites. Pretty annoying. Having this two bugs fixed will make it at least four stars for me.
I can't figure out how to change it back. cant see anything!!! Help!!!
