High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

A customisable colour filter applied to web pages to improve colour perception.
" the only exception is photos, which are left alone." Nope.
Used to work great, but it seems to be inverting all form fields now, even when on normal mode. Images inverting don't really bother me, and is sometimes a good thing as an all white background image needs to invert as well, I'm not sure if there's a good way to differentiate. Either way, it's unusable until the form fields option is fixed. Normal mode shouldn't do anything to the webpages, but some appear to be really buggy still. It's a good idea, but the bugs make it unusable now...
Muito util porém parou de funcionar nas ultimas versões do Chrome!!!
Barely works anymore.
Please fix the glitch that shows up everytime you scroll down/up.
Generally, when it works, it's acceptable. I've used better extensions for the same purpose before, but this one has a bug (using Chrome Version 26.0.1410.63) where fixed position elements on webpages render incorrectly. It's extremely annoying.
I did not get this extension for aesthetics. It saves my eyes from glare!
It really messes up YT videos. IT makes the videos look like negatives.
it's good. but it will be better, if i will have set custom color. for example, black invert to white. but i want set this color.
Scrolling breaks the page >:
