High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

It is really useful, but there is an incredibly odd issue where it is making all of the image in google slides invisible, even when not in use.

Don´t see the deference
В целом хороший контраст, но существенный недостаток в том, что приложение затрагивает изображения и видео, они становятся будто выцветшими, а те что на ярком фоне так и вовсе почти исчезают. Это актуально для режима с инверсией цвета.
I like what it does visually to the page.Without it some pages are impossible to read due to grey , faint text. Unfortunately it seriously interferes with printing (both to PDF or printer) and reduces resolution to unacceptable levels. I have to disable this app any time I print a barcode or text that has to be enlarged.
This app interferes with the normal functioning of Chrome in the following ways 1. It inhibits loading some pictures. I noticed this on the Twitter website in particular. 2. When I print from Chrome, both the print preview and the document itself come out blurry. Disabling the extension fixes this. The functionality of the app is really nice, but for these issues.

It's not as good as Firefox reader view but it's acceptable.
