Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

I like this idea a lot. It's a little unwieldy at first, especially since there are so many different styles of pages out there to adjust for. In particular, I like being able to white-list pages that already have their own built-in dark mode. The primary problem with this extension is that its own options page is black text on a white background. This means that even if everything is configured well enough, when I go to check the options or exclude a site, I'm hit by the exact sort of page I was trying to avoid by installing the extension! Because of the nature of the extension, this is such a glaring misstep that I find it hard to believe it wasn't caught already. Am I missing something?

Excellent extension. Cant work well for every site because every site was built differently. Works on most sites I use perfectly. Does it's job, has custom options, whitelists and more. Also good for your eyesight.
It works fine on many websites but in Gmail, the dark color of the background is so close to that of the Gmail function buttons that I can't see the mail checkboxes and many other useful buttons.

Works really well on most web pages. It does have an issue with web page banners on most websites that have one however, but the dark theme is definitely worth losing the banner image(as long as the image isn't important). Excellent extension though!
Doesn't work on a few sites and doesn't always show everything on the sites that do(mainly images), but it works fine on Google drive and in particular, google docs, which was the main reason for installing in the first place. My straining eyes can take a break and would like to thank you.
I mean.... it's okay.... I'm sure is hard, or even impossible, to support ALL of the websites, but google search is no random website... or google maps... The font on google search is really hard to ready and it feels like I have a 300x200 monitor streched to 24 inches. I would also point out that I tried whitelisting google maps but when I paste the link https://www.google.com/maps/ it just gets chopped down to "google.com". Also, for some reason, facebook chats with the new "gradient colors" available, it does some weird stuff... instead of changing the color of the text, the color of the background of the chat is changed. Other than that, this is working surprisingly well.
