Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

Couldnt make some sites dark. :(
I give it 4 stars out of 5. Its a great app. Relieves some of the strain on the eyes from bright white pages on big screens. I gave it 4 stars, because not all pages seem to work. Or dont work as well as other pages do. Example, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, are all nice and dark. Looking at the bookmarks page, settings page, downloads page, are all not affected. Ebay could be better as the main column is dark, but the surrounding border is still bright white. And doesnt seem to work at all on chrome store and barely functional on Twitch.Still worth using though

I miss an example image in the options interface. How tedious to go through all of the options without instantly seeing the changes. Lovely concept with many customisation options.

Love this extension! It's currently underrated IMO--at least if your needs are simple. My favorite style is Dark mode #3 (sharp dark) which provides better contrast than the default and looks awesome.
