Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

It's really great, but it would be nice if it had support for a wildcard symbol in the omission list, so I don't have to whitelist DeviantArt domains by user.
Looks great on most sites, but lacks a "black list" option to apply the theme only on certain sites.

One of the better theming extensions. It's difficult, time consuming, and more inconvenient than it needs to be to apply the different options. Takes too much to switch between themes, and no easy toggle for whitelisting sites.
Cannot recommend this enough. I have two monitors and have chrome up a lot in multiple windows, and installing this noticeably reduced my eye strain within seconds. If you're in front of the computer a lot, use this extension. Period.
