Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

Great, and does what it says on the tin. Although I'd prefer if it also had a light mode option, to force pages to a light mode instead of a dark mode, which would have earned the extra star

Bis zur Version 0.4.5 war alles in Ordnung mit dieser Erweiterung. Jetzt ist die Wikipedia Medienseite hell und bei Amazon ist die Leiste mit den alternativen Anbietern einer Ware ebenfalls hell und man sieht nicht mehr was man eintippt ins Suchfeld bei Amazon. Schade das es hier keinerlei Möglichkeiten gibt zum downgraden auf die Version 0.4.5 wie bei Firefox. Dort habe ich downgegradet und jede weitere Aktualisierung dieser Erweiterung in den Einstellungen untersagt. Weiß jemand wo ich eine frühere Version dieser Erweiterung finde damit wieder alles glatt läuft? Ich benutze keine externen Dark Mode mehr für den Google Chrome Browser weil das viel einfacher geht über chrome://flags . Man gibt das Wort dark ein in das Suchfeld und klickt beim Eintrag Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents enabled ein schon hat man einen super Dark Mode. Der Dark Mode funktioniert sogar auf Seiten die den Dark Mode von Extensions ablehnen wie der Chromewebstore. Man muss nichts mehr einstellen da alles automatisch läuft das die Interntseiten abgedunkelt werden.
Need a save button for configurations. Current configuration page often makes me very confused whether it has saved what I fill in or not. Sometimes the exclude list fails to my inputs. This is a little bit annoying. This is why I give a 4-star instead of 5.
It Just Works
I have a huge problem with it. I want it active on a specific website not for all when I click it. Is there an option for that?
