Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

This extension causing several site unable to login, disable the extension then everything goes normal
This extension, (without being activated!), makes Amazon website 10 times more resource intensive and slow to load.

Best dark mode extension by far. It's not hand designed for every page so it supports nearly every page you could try. It will automatically convert your pages to dark themes even better than some extensions where everything is hand done.
Appears to me to be a dangerous Extension: It changed google.com to dark, despite only light mode ever being used. If you disable the extension or even delete it, https://www.google.com stays dark and you have to use developer tools to clear cookies/db etc. for the page. Tested installing, deinstalling, installing several times and the results are consistent. So it appears to be storing something with the page and ignoring the fact that light mode is on, and even if it's disabled and zapped, you manually have to go clean everything. I also tested with the white list but that didn't make any difference. Have used plenty of dark room extensions and this one, although the dark mode is pleasant looking and easy to customize, is by far the worst when it comes to darkening sites you do not want changed.
