Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

Please make a Light Mode extension so I can fix Google and their retardation! Thanks!
As a free extension, it offers a simple yet powerful solution that works in 80% websites. A question though: how do I disable it for sites like google.com/maps? I want it for all google sites, but for maps it's pretty bad with dark mode enabled.

Well done -- simple, and works well once you practice a little. I tried other solutions, other plugins, and all have problems -- including this one. However, this one is really good because it is so simple, and once you practice a little, works quite well. If you understand how varied web pages are, you'll appreciate what this extension is doing for you... and so will your eyes.

Worked ok for a while but I have to remove it now because its causing Amazon to load for over 9 seconds on every page now.
