Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time.
Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF. If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from dark mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded from night mode. Alternatively, you can use the context-menu item in mouse right-click to exclude desired websites.

Cool but blows up video. Makes backgrounds on all hrefs, looks like an error. Makes all png transparency look like its 2001. Hideous colors for default. Cool. concept poorly executed.
it is good but only issue is it apply to streaming apps also and make the video completely dark and i unable to see anything. at least they could have provide option to disable for particular site. only only option available to work for that site and disable for all other sites and this option is useless for a person want to use for the sites except one or two sites.
Fails on way too many websites
great extension. works most of the time. occasionally, it'll blacken things that you don't wanna blacken and makes the website look broken. luckily, you can add websites that don't work to the "exclude" list.
While I do love this extension, (I use it all the time) it does NOT work with vanguard website when you try to login. p.s. whether it's on or off, as long as the extension is active on the browser, vanguard website after you login will not work.
It's a working extension but it does'nt work on all websites
Well, the extension is nice, but it breaks many of the pages. There are many issues. Some pages are broken, some images disappear, while some websites disappear completely. All these things render this extension unusable.
the best can change color
Hi, I just installed this extension and it seems to work fine. However, there is a problem with Google Docs: when the dark mode is on, if I print a document, it comes out with black background ! I just killed my toner now because of this glitch. I have a similar extension installed on Firefox that does not have this bug.
Other Dark Modes invert the colorscheme, meaning dark pictures now look weird and super bright. This just takes the background white on pages and makes it black, but images are unaffected. A must-have for Facebook and similar sites.
