Its brilliant. I feel like I'm in control of Youtube and not the other way around. The whole youtube experience has been streamlined to what's important: Subscriptions without Shorts. No recommendations; I find new channels through direct searches. My only regret is I didn't install this years ago, or whenever it was first released!
It’s great overall — I’m just waiting for the pro features since that’s the only real issue. The settings are too easy to change, so when I’m studying and suddenly feel like watching a video, I can switch them with just one click and get distracted. A locked version is all I really need.

I really love this! It is perfect for helping me block the adictive parts of youtube and still letting me interact with the platform in the way I consiously want. One request would be to block the recommendations you get in the videoplayer at the end of a video. Because that is still nudging u into the rabbithole of the algorythm. Love it and curious to see what the pro version will offer.
