PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Give me the ability to mute the ringer. I don't want this thing blasting in my ear every 2 minutes. I will stick with RC Phone until this is done.
The integration is what we were looking for. However, one function I've seen it advertised but not in any instructions or installation documents is HubSpot workflow integration to send SMS. This would be super useful! I just emailed [email protected] to find out more and will update when I get an answer.
This is the integration we've been waiting for!! We initially switched to HubSpot purely for the contact sync between our online systems (and RingCentral). But didn't use HubSpot a whole lot (out of sight out of mind). But now with the auto popup of contact records for incoming calls - we're diving into a lot more of HubSpot than we had been. Plus improving intra-staff communications about what a customer has needed/been told, etc. We've had no trouble activating it/logging in (we use Google SSO). Our recommendations for improvement would be: The auto call log entry has the call direction in brackets - why do I have to select it anyway? Same for the result - granted HubSpot may not have that status visibility, but if it does via the integration - prefilling that would be great and we can change it if need be (on incoming anyway. Outgoing of course we'd have to set the result). Still wish there was a 'text' button in the contact record that would bring up a text window. Right now we use the Ringcentral for Google extension with the mini call/text popup on hover so ... not a huge deal except it's not logged in RC. Auto logging texts in HubSpot would be nice (or maybe turn it on for a contact), but can see how it would make a contact record a mess. That said - would be nice if back to back SMS messages could be 'merged' into a single contact activity entry instead of one entry per text. Maybe auto separate every 24 hours or something. We text our clients a LOT. A text tab alongside the Calls tab would be amazing but that's a HubSpot issue, not RC. Now let's see if we can get some type of limited HubSpot integration into the RingCentral App!
So far, this integration seems to do everything we were looking for. I'll bump my rating to 5 stars when we can have some control over the volume and sound of the incoming call alert.
Just keeps hanging on "Sorry we couldn't authenticate you and never logs in"
