Designed to be easy to use, by using this extension flash content will "just work", with no extra configuration required. Ruffle will detect all existing Flash content on a website and automatically "polyfill" it into a Ruffle player, allowing seamless and transparent upgrading of websites that still rely on Flash content.

If websites also have Ruffle installed, this extension will upgrade it to the latest version if needed. By installing this extension, you get access to the latest fixes and optimisations even on websites that already include an older copy of Ruffle, whilst also providing you with some extra options.

Ruffle is a Flash Player emulator written in Rust. Ruffle runs on all modern browsers through the use of WebAssembly. Leveraging the safety of the modern browser sandbox and the memory safety guarantees of Rust, we can confidently avoid all the security pitfalls that Flash had a reputation for.

Ruffle is an entirely open source project maintained by volunteers. We're all passionate about the preservation of internet history, and we were drawn to working on this project to help preserve the many websites and plethora of content that will no longer be accessible when users can no longer run the official Flash Player. If you would like to help support this project, we welcome all contributions of any kind - even if it's just playing some old games, seeing how well they run, and letting us know any issues you find!

cool for old flash games, but actionscript 3.0 is a must-have, there are so many web games that use as3.0... Good to hear that you all are working on it!

nice extension its an nice alternative to flashpoint if your pc cant run flashpoint please make more pbs kid flash games playable in the next update ok thx bye

Very cool and might be our saviour for the fallen hero Flash. Only problem is the Actionscript. Looking forward to Actionscript 3.

Best thing I've seen in the chrome web store in a long long time. This brings back flash for things made with ActionScript 1 and 2 (pre 2006ish) with astonishing accuracy!

Seems to work quite fine on most of the educational Flash content I ask me students to access.

While it did make some games start up they're stuck in a never ending loading screen. This extension is not recommended if you really want to play Gaia Online. All I wanted was to be able to play Gaia Online stuff because what they have for Flash didn't work for me.
