Designed to be easy to use, by using this extension flash content will "just work", with no extra configuration required. Ruffle will detect all existing Flash content on a website and automatically "polyfill" it into a Ruffle player, allowing seamless and transparent upgrading of websites that still rely on Flash content.
If websites also have Ruffle installed, this extension will upgrade it to the latest version if needed. By installing this extension, you get access to the latest fixes and optimisations even on websites that already include an older copy of Ruffle, whilst also providing you with some extra options.
Ruffle is a Flash Player emulator written in Rust. Ruffle runs on all modern browsers through the use of WebAssembly. Leveraging the safety of the modern browser sandbox and the memory safety guarantees of Rust, we can confidently avoid all the security pitfalls that Flash had a reputation for.
Ruffle is an entirely open source project maintained by volunteers. We're all passionate about the preservation of internet history, and we were drawn to working on this project to help preserve the many websites and plethora of content that will no longer be accessible when users can no longer run the official Flash Player. If you would like to help support this project, we welcome all contributions of any kind - even if it's just playing some old games, seeing how well they run, and letting us know any issues you find!

Wonderful. I can run the Forzatracker UPS monitor system, wich requires flashplayer. Thank you.
Amazing project! Doesn't yet work on all flash animations/games (especially ASv3) but they're actively working on compatibility, and ASv1 and ASv2 compatibility is almost fully complete.
I honestly like Ruffle because it actually works on various flash games, which I truly enjoy. I hope they can also do something for Naruto Online as well, because it does work but the extension is still currently under development. That website game is literally my childhood, so I hope they can finish their development in time and keep up the good work because this extension works so well :D

it is still in development, but this truly allows you to go back the good old days of the internet.
Thanks for the incredible work of the Ruffle team, all my old Flash games are now working flawlessly at 60fps, fullscreen and even on Android and iOS! Flash is dead, long live Ruffle ❤️
This extension works smoothly for most ActionScript 1 and 2 games. A few bugs occurred here and there that weren't in the original Flash versions (some game-crashing, some minor), but overall, the experience was worth my time! However, some ActionScript 3 games I tried to play showed a blank screen or an endless loop. I hope that gets fixed soon!
