Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Exactly what I wanted. New tab is a [fast] blank page, without any junk on it. no redirects (that leave crap in address bar), no heavy gimmicks and notifications. just. blank. page. thank you!
I like it, does just what it says in the packet. (Though it seems mad that I have to download an addin to do something as simple as "not waste time and bandwidth when I hit Ctrl+T".)
