Version 1.2.0 adds dark mode support.
Version 1.3.0's only change is to use manifest_version 3. For this extension, this does not affect behavior at all. The change is required to keep the extension listed in Chrome Web Store.

Fast, light and doesn't use ram in the background like other new tab extensions.
Does exactly what it says to do. Good for me because my brain likes to forget what I'm looking for when I open a new tab and look at the most visited tabs and get distracted. Tip: Ctrl+L puts the focus on the address/search bar. No need for the Google search box on the regular new tab page.
It's exaclty what it's supposed to be. It's better than having the thumbnails but I wish it went to my home page by default. Somebody mentioned ads but I don't see any. Maybe it's because I already have Adblock+ on as well.
Keep it simple stupid. That is what Empty New Tab Page does. Simple problem, simple fix. No bells or whistles. If you want something that does more this may not be the best extension but if you want a blank new tab page, look no further.
