Update made it worse. Harder to look through "unsaved" tabs, you also increased the size of all text and "bubblised it." I'm thankful for this thing, and I am lost why you don't just give me an opt-out of the "modernized" redesign. You're not google, so I don't get this attitude that everything must look sleek at the cost of efficiency.
Am also not going to downgrade to 1 star but this is looking more like textbook regression. "Overwrite with current" needs to come back and what happened to tab count??
雖然新版本也蠻好看的,但以前功能比較齊全。希望至少能保留這些功能:1) 插件按鈕上顯示目前所有分頁的數量、2) Collections 顯示每個 Collection 有多少分頁、3) 一次打開所有分頁。
"Overwrite with current" was a perfect feature that allowed to save/update the set of tabs under a collection name without the need of creating a new collection and then having to delete the old collection. Wrong direction by removing feature on the latest update.
It was perfect before the new update. Before when you searched a word you would see all your previous sessions and current session that had that searched word in it, now in the new update it's just a drop down menu that barely shows anything. Also now you don't get to see the number of tabs on old sessions. This new update killed the functionally of this extension.
ADDENDUM #2 (4 stars): Given how bad I trashed this after the recent major update, it's only fair to report that my major complaints have all been addressed in the following weeks. The search is now super fast, correctly finds the search term in both URLs and page names. I can now have more than one Session Buddy tab open in the same window. The search dropdown is gone, replaced by the original filter to only those sessions that contain the search term. It also now filters within a single saved session to show only the tabs with the search term (for a while there, I was doing CTRL-F to find what I wanted). My only remaining complaint with the search is it doesn't work well with search phrases - it finds each individual word in the phrase rather than searching for the phrase as a whole. Quotation marks around the phrase don't appear to help. So 4 stars for me now - 1 star deduction for the small search term issue, and the fact that such an undercooked update should never have been released in the first place. But I would now happily recommend this again. ADDENDUM (1 star): Amazingly, the search no longer finds terms in the URL of a page. It only finds the page name. Utterly, utterly baffling how bad this has been ruined. ORIGINAL (1 star): Loved this tool, until the recent update that completely destroyed most of its functionality. What used to be one click is now 3 or 4. Searches that used to filter sessions to only those that contained the search term now have a drop down list? I can no longer have multiple tabs open with this extension. I used to have multiple tabs, each with separate search terms entered, that correctly filtered to what I was looking for. Now, all gone. But it looks so much prettier now? What are you, Apple? I ditched them 15 years ago for the same reasons. Time to find an alternative I guess.
The update is quite literally awful. I'm not going to reiterate all the other changes that have made this addon worse but WHY does it open tabs one at a time take like 2 seconds to open each tab. It used to just open the whole set at once.
For a featured extension with 1M+ users, they sure do test their major version updates like a couple of undergrads. I had to check if the extension got sold to some malware lads, but apparently not. It recovers tabs post-crash more reliably than raw chrome, and that's the only +1 star I'm willing to give it.
Please, please return 1. The ability to search WITHIN the current session. When I go to session buddy and type something in the "Search Collections" search bar, it shows 100s of results. This is not useful, I want to search in my current session. 2. X's on the left-hand side to close individual tabs for current session. Right clicking and hitting "close" for each takes so much longer when closing many tabs Edit: Also... WHY does Command + B automatically switch tabs to session buddy?? I can't bold anything in documents without it switching tabs.
