A simple, powerful tab manager
Need simple session management? Several users on the same Chrome? FreshStart is a simple cross browser session manager.
The Next Generation Session Manager; A Really Working Too Many Open Tabs Solution; And Your Browsing Notebook.
Auto-saved browser sessions. Tab groups support. Sync with the cloud.
Save & restore your browser sessions. Auto saving, multiple sessions and more.
When copying tabs (at least from one browser profile to another) the tab groups are lost so that one needs to group the tabs again. I think that is something easy to add/correct.
DO NOT USE : Your sessions data will disappear without a warning from time to time. They even have a page about this on their faq : https://sessionbuddy.com/data-reliability/ You basically have to backup your files manually.
Extremely helpful for people that work on many levels. The new history feature can save you a lot of work if you close something by mistake
Thank you for adding the History feature! It was a lifesaver when I forgot to save my tabs before restarting my computer, and I was worried I’d lost all my work. So this functionality has proven incredibly valuable. I have two suggestions that I think could make the feature even better: Export Specific Collections: It would be helpful to have an option to export individual collections for easier sharing or offline reference. Save Tab History: Retaining tab history would enhance usability by allowing the use of the back and forward navigation features, even after a restart. Thank you again, I look forward to seeing how it continues to evolve!
Great tool! It helps with managing tabs in collections. This is especially useful when I have to close my browser and don't want to lose all the open tabs for my research. I organize different research projects into separate tab collections. "Replace with open tabs" feature is phenomenal, which helps keep collection up to date. Thanks!
Session Buddy is a very useful extension. After installing it, I no longer worry about losing my tabs, especially when my browser closes accidentally (e.g., due to a power outage). Thanks so much!
Update 04.02.2024: Guys, can you pls introduce a function that let's you batch edit the history, and not only one by one in order o delete events (sessions) from the history? Takes soooo long.. Also, with that duplicate funtion not working properly in history, it takes even more time!! Developer response would be awesome as well.. 13.11.2024: Duplicate Tabs Chaos and no way to Group Tabs within one session. Been using it for ages as a simple backup for my last session in Chrome in case Chrome crashes and its own "Recent Tabs"-feature doesn't work. Unfortunately, what's really awkward is that the find duplicate function only works in the "active tab collection" and the "saved collections". 1) It does NOT work across all saved sessions. 2) It does NOT work across the entire history either. So, it really cramps up all sessions and the history unnecessarily. When you go either through "saved sessions" or "history" it's like finding a needle in the hay stack because hundreds of hundreds of tabs appear over and over again. Like the app and that they keep on improving it, but it would be really good to get rid of this mass of duplicate tabs (maybe via a one click toggle button that allows you to delete ALL duplicate tabs or keep hundreds of tabs from your history and saved sessions over and over again. Why would I need 25 tabs of the same URL in my library? I only need the newest one of course..(in my humble opinion..). Would using it more frequently if this would be solved..
Grade wurde bei mir alles gelöscht, ohne Hinweis, ohne Warnung, alles weg. Nie wieder.
I don't see settings enabling a user to customize the extension. Also, there is no "reopen closed tab" option in the drop down context menu.
Useless and broken. Doesn't even load at all anymore.
