I have been using this extension for almost ten years without any problems. However, since upgrading to v4, I have encountered several issues with restoring previous sessions. While some of these issues have been fixed, there is one particularly annoying issue that remains. Often, I receive an error message that says "Some tabs could not be opened" when trying to restore certain windows in the session. This problem tends to occur when I am using a single display, though it is not exclusive to that scenario. Connecting a secondary display resolves the issue for some windows but not for all of them. After exporting sessions to a JSON file and examining the problematic windows, I noticed that all affected windows had "minimized" state. Changing these windows to "maximized" or adjusting their "left" position to 0 seems to fix the problem with opening them. I am wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues and if there is a solution that does not involve exporting and manually editing sessions every time. I am giving it 3/5 stars, since this issue is very frustrating and disrupts my workflow.

Used to love this simple tool that pretty much does everything I need. Now with v4 it is a different beast. I don't know what else it added, but I couldn't care less because I couldn't do most of what I wanted to do. The easy import/export is gone. Profile is a whack. etc etc. Maybe I'll still keep it around to see if it'll eventually be better, but for now the v4 deserves 1*....or less, given all the lost histories.

1 star is now too generous. Newest update. I'm now deleting this terrible piece of garbage. Once again it has just lost all of my saved sessions and reset it's database to zero. It used to be a remarkable extension..... Then it was updated and became worse than useless. Uninstalled and good riddance. (Old review - Fantastic. I can search and open multiple relevant pages, then save the session to re-open at any future time. Excellent program). R.I.P Session buddy.

As a researcher who utilizes news reports, this app has been incredibly helpful. I also really appreciate the fact that you recently integrated a backup procedure to make it much simpler to store the entire saved database. I do have two suggestions, however. First, in the most recent update, you made it so that the session has to be saved, before a collection title can be added. I'd like to see this reverted to previous versions, where the name could be applied before the save took place. This new version simply added a step in order to name a collection. Second, it would be really great to have an indication that a tab had previously been saved as part of another collection. For instance, maybe the icon can change colors, or some sort checkmark could be placed on the icon letting the user know that they'd previously saved the tab. I'm not saying to disallow the action of saving it again as part of another collection, but a notification that it had previously been saved would be ideal. Thank you.
