IT WORKS! It's the suspenders for when Chrome's built-in recover my session feature fails - e.g. this always happens if chrome crashes before I've had a chance to tell it yes, I do want you to restore the windows that I had open. (Once that happens, there's no way to get the info back, according to all the threads I've found discussing how to recover...unless you use an extension like this) It's saved my open tabs that would have been otherwise lost. It doesn't save session stuff like chrome does, but that can be a plus, as it's less data, simpler, and more robust; many copies can be kept (and are, by default, IIRC, or did I set it up to auto-save periodically and forget?) Anyway, a good extension. I tried a similar one, and I can't remember what it was, but this is the one I've kept. Thanks, Hans! PS I see a lot of reviews (as recently as yesterday) mentioning folks that want stuff kept in sync between, e.g. their home and work computers. HEY!! There are other extensions for that!! AND, recently it became part of the core functionality of Chrome!) I just noticed that session buddy prompted me to review it. Oh, and have the bugs in some of the 25 "most helpful" (according to votes) reviews been fixed, e.g. the import function etc? If so, perhaps post a note in "DETAILS" responding to each AND ask folks to downrate those reviews, so they no longer comes up as high as #3 most helpful review. Asking ahandful of folks do that would be a good idea! -- just for the ones that aren't relevant any more! No cheating! :-) -Elvey Oh, and a suggestion regarding donations: if you think you should, flip a coin twice. If it comes up heads twice, give 4 times what you would. Otherwise, give nothing. If we all do that, Hans gets a little more money (lower transaction costs) and we all save time.
I would rate 5 stars if it would sync sessions to the cloud so if i login to chrome from another computer it should be there ready for me Thanks
Works great
non sta funzionando +
works as needed. perfect.
AMAZING!!
fantastic.
Lightweight and easy to use. Does it's job perfectly, even when Chrome doesn't.
Really great app. Does all that you could want a session manager to do. The only thing I might want, is that it syncs the sessions on a cloud, so i can do it across multiple pcs.
A must have!!!
