What's New in 3.0:
==================
* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

Ridiculous that this is an extension. Shame on you, devs.
Originally a 'One star' review simply to complain about the removal of 'backspace' to go back in the first place. Now, 5* as it does solve the issue. But I'd rather that this functionality was an option in Chrome rather than an extension that I have to install on every Chrome browser I use.
I appreciate that Google explains why the extra permissions are needed in the description for this extension, but I'm also confused about why it worked fine for weeks beforehand without needing these new permissions.
Pretty silly that google even has to make this an extension to provide a feature that has been default for as long as I've used a computer.
Wieso nicht das hier als Standard und das andere als Addon?
There is no good reason for this to be an extension, why isn't it built in? Not happy with the new permissions.
5* for the extension, because the new way of going back with alt+<- is retarded. 1* for Google because they removed it in the first place due to a few idiots who can't use their computer properly and "lost data" to the mighty backspace...
You want permission to read and change anything I do online so I can use the back button? Seriously? You have much better methods for doing this. Not giving you another. Deleted.
「アクセスしたウェブサイト上にある自分の全データ読み取りと変更」という追加権限が要求され戸惑いましたが、コメントなどの文字入力中にBackを押すとページが飛ぶ現象が修正されたので大分使いやすくなりました。
Was really useful so far, no idea why google needs those permissions for a simple page back function. Shame on you Google.
