* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

I understand that not every feature is important to every user, but this feature is important to me. I'm glad that there's a way for backspace to be re-enabled!

Жаль, что backspace навигацию убрали из ядра хрома. Только это расширение и спасает. Напомню, что навигацию отключили из-за многочисленных ошибок при отправке форм. Человек долго заполняет форму, а потом вместо отправки нажимает Backspace. Понятно, что это не совсем опытные пользователи, но их набралась критическая масса и Backspace навигацию отключили.

I don't understand why this app suddenly now needs so many permissions for accessing my data. It just needs to literally "go back" a page.

Loved it till it suddenly required permissions to change all data on websites I visit and manage my apps, extensions and themes. If these are REALLY necessary then at least tell us why. Removing from Chrome.
