* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

Garbage. Doesn't work at all. I had already removed it but added this extension to Chrome a second time just to give it a 1-star review.
This shouldn't be an extension at all. Should be part of the program itself.
doesn't work, fake app
Bring back the backspace functionality to the browser itself where it belongs. this is ridiculous.
Doesn't work on most of Flash based sites I'm working on, pretty much any web GUI for VMware, Cisco, EMC tools it fails to handle as text and reloads the site.
Works perfectly, just restart Chrome by either closing and reopening it or visiting chrome://restart
Doesn't work on half the pages. They shouldn't have removed this function to begin with.
