What's New in 3.0:
==================
* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

This doesn't replicate the functionality that's been lost with the new Chrome update. Shift + Backspace is not implemented as a means to go forwards which means I'm still stuck needing two hands for page navigation Edit: Now that back and forward both work this is a much more viable extension
Brings me back wen im Writing in Flash based programms/games
Doesn't seem to actually work. Why did this ever change anyway??? Ugh, Chrome.
IT SHOULD BE AN OPTION NOT AN EXTENSION
What a horrible idea to get rid of this functionality -- functionality that has been around forever in every browser. At the very least they should make this a toggle in settings. Total arrogance.
I. Want. My. Backspace BACK. ASAP
Thanks, this really brings us the supreme feature that was taken from us.
Wrong back happens when I typing in a input tag...
Who are the "people" who lost data? They don't know how to use autosave functions? Make this an option in chrome browser. I don't like extensions.
