What's New in 3.0:
==================
* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

Fixes chrome. Dear Google : why on earth would you make a perfectly good 1-handed command 2-handed ? all good and well used keyboard shortcuts are 1-handed. so you can be more productive, and efficient. 1 hand on keyboard, other on D'a mouse.
설정에 온오프 넣어주면 될껄 왜 그냥 삭제를 해버렸을까....
Shift+backspace not working as history forward. It's retarded to have this extension at all.
I think what would be great is to use a double click on backspace instead of Alt+ left key. That way the
I never realized how much I used backspace until it was gone. I've never had a problem with accidentally hitting back on a form, and if I did, I learned from it and paid more attention next time. One start because this extensions doesn't even work, and I miss the real backspace :(
I went straight to chromes' settings when I found out I couldn't backspace back. And found nothing. Then I googled for a solution and found this extension? Why? Why is this even a thing. I've read an article about why they did it but why like this? So lazily tacked on through an extension. Googles constant tinkering around with small useful features like this makes me unreasonably upset. Now I'm actually taking time out of my day to write this stupid comment just to get some of this anger out. Bleh. Please just keep tinkering with youtube and call it a day, Google.
Just add it back to chrome. Flag/Settings I don't care. I know you can argue that we would end up with thousands of options if they do that.. Well, So be it. I would rather have a 1,000,000 option flag page that is built to look ugly, but made for clever people, than a browser that looks pretty but is dumbed down for dumb people.
People who don't understand that Backspace is the default shortcut to go back should not be allowed to use the internet.
"Next time disable entire keyboard and mouse functions, you ****" you know what you guys doing? you guys just removed native function all browser does. first remove the plugin and provide a option to toggle this feature in settings menu. so your can enable if he/she wants.
We need the shift + backspace to go forwards.
