The extension must now be enabled for each hostname individually. This adjustment enhances the extension's performance, as the always-active feature can disrupt websites. To activate it, open the page requiring the always-active feature in a browser tab and click the action button once. The page will refresh, and the action button will turn blue.

This extension protects against web pages tracking the activity state of the page. Some websites use this track to only offer services when the tab is active. By installing this extension a small script is injected into every webpage which overwrites the "document.visibilityState", and "document.hidden" properties to pretend the tab is always in the active state (document.visibilityState = 'visible' and document.hidden = false).
This is useful for the webpages that check your visibility state before loading resources like many music webpages. By installing this extension even if the page is opened in the background page, the player will start immediately like the page is loaded on an active tab.

Not working on stopping facebook refreshing anymore
perfect for backgrounding while ads play on some video services which will pause the ads while you do anything else. people giving it low rating because it no longer works on facebook (presumably because facebook are doing something different) are being quite unfair
Working as I expected. It takes trial-error wait and click if it's enabled blue highlight with tick mark. what really you need to wait fully load facebook webpage then click extension icon that reloads website until shows the blue highlight with tick mark. That should work. Keep mind, it's temporary until you close or recover tabs.
This extension stops the Facebook web page from AUTO RELOADING by clicking the extension icon until BLUE and showing a TICK many thanks DEVS for your free extension
Best extension ever
Doesn't work at all. Pages continue to automatically refresh (every few seconds on sites like Yahoo! News). It doesn't work on Facebook either. Don't bother with this extension. It's not worth the wasted bandwidth to download!

It was awsome, but now i don't what happened, does the Facebook updates ruined it or it's update itself did.
