This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Down 1 star from initial impression due to persistent conflict with Pinterest extension. Hangs the page when you try to pin images with either the floating button or right-click menu. This happens on MANY pages. Requires disabling Dark Reader completely for Pinterest to work. Otherwise, I couldn't live without it. Tried many, this is the best.
This widget is great. Was using it for awhile until they implemented "notifications" on the widget icon. I don't want to see any notifications on the icon. It's disturbing. And let's be honest - I am not interested in news from the blog, I just want to use this simple (awesome) feature. Think about removing the notifications, or adding an option to disable them.
