This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Works great when it works, Annoying as hell when it works in places it shouldn't and can't be toggled. New tab page keeps getting inverted and is protected by google, so doesn't make sense why they are able to mess with it.
This is just fantastic! It has a lot of great sub tools to personalize your version of Dark Mode based on your taste!
The best dark mode extension I've used, and I've used a few. On top of the normal filters, the Static and Dynamic theme engines work like magic; particularly the Dynamic theme engine. They end up making sites looking like they were built from the ground up with a dark theme in mind. Definitely worth trying out!
Works exactly as indicated, awesome functionality. A must have if you read at night.

Saved my eyes
This is an excellent extension that needs one small improvement. Please allow us to set the theme engine *PER* website because sometimes "Static" works for Website A, but "Dynamic" is better for Website B, etc. I find myself having to switch the engine constantly since its dependent on how the specific destination site is setup.
It does not work in chrome built in .pdf viewer saved in my device. Work on it and I'll give 5*.
