This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.

ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.

In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Une fois cette extension installée, il n'est plus possible de choisir un autre moteur de recherche par défaut, il faut désactiver l'extension pour pouvoir utiliser un autre moteur de recherche sur son navigateur. On pourrait appeler cela de l'abus de pouvoir... Bref, je l'ai désactivé et j'utiliserai ChatGPT via son site web ou son application...

Not shown as the screenshots. when i asked "what's the weather". chatgpt search engine says "I don't have real-time access to weather data, but you can easily check the current weather by using a weather app, website (like Weather.com, AccuWeather, or your local news station), or asking a smart assistant like Siri or Google Assistant." (web search enabled in chatgpt)

فكرة جيدة، فقط للتنبيه ، من يريد البحث عبر جوجل بالطريقة القديمة عليه كتابة g! قبل أي شيئ، عموما هذه الطريقة مفيدة ، لكن يمكن تطويرها أكثر ليصبح البحث عبر النطق فقط
