Zotero is a free, easy-to-use, open-source tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research.
The Zotero Connector automatically senses content as you browse the web and allows you to save items to Zotero with a single click. If a PDF is available, the Connector can save it to your library to read later, and it can even save snapshots of webpages in case they change or disappear. Whether you're searching for a preprint on arXiv.org, a journal article from JSTOR, a news story from the New York Times, or a book from your university library catalog, Zotero has you covered with support for thousands of sites.
Additionally, if you use a web-based proxy to access resources your institution subscribes to, the Zotero Connector can automatically redirect you through the proxy when you follow links to those sites from elsewhere on the web, making sure that you always have access to PDFs and other gated content.
While the Connector can save most pages directly to your zotero.org account, for the full Zotero experience be sure to install the Zotero desktop app, which allows you to organize your references efficiently, insert citations automatically into Word, LibreOffice, and Google Docs, and much more. Rating is only to get attention of developers. I loved this app, it saved my college career many times as far as grabbing resources. However, this chrome extension as it stands is actively freezing and crashing my chrome browser--which almost made me fail a test. I know it was this extension because it's the only one I have installed. I tried disabling it, which seemed to help, but the extension won't reactivate after disabling so I'm forced to uninstall and reinstall after using it. This is a great extension, and I want to continue using it, but it's a pain to have to have to uninstall and reinstall after every use. It'd be great if I didn't even have to do that in the first place, but a fix to at least let me reactivate it after disabling it would be better than nothing.
Pour ceux qui n'arrivent pas à faire fonctionner l'extension, il faut d'abord l'autoriser sur son profil Zotero : clic droit sur l'extension > Options > Autoriser.

Cannot save pdf file to zotero from IEEE, but arxiv. How can I solve it?
Bonsoir, pour moi tout fonctionnaient au début et vu que ça fait un bout de temps que je ne l'utilise plus, j'ai un message indiquant que Zotero est désactivé dans la page des extensions. Aidez moi à regler ça svp
Zotero did not allow me to recover my password. They say they sent a password recovery link to my email, but I never received it. I tested this with two email addresses and, in neither of them, did I receive the link. It's been a struggle, as I have a lot of stuff saved in Zotero. Now I'm preparing to migrate to Mendeley, as the password recovery system actually works.
