Fable now has a Chrome Browser Extension that will easily allow you to add books to your lists. This feature can be helpful to add books that may be missing in the Fable catalog or to add books to your Fable reading lists.
Note: The Chrome Extension is still in beta. Currently this feature works on individual book pages that include an ISBN or ASIN.
To use the browser extension
1. In your browser go to https://fable.co
2. Login to your Fable account
3. Visit a book page of a book you wish to add to your list.
Inspect the latest comments and rating distribution.
Store average score: 2.6. The bars below are calculated from synced review text only, so they may be empty for extensions that have public ratings but no synced comments yet.
Review related products from the Chrome Web Store detail page.

it has worked on exactly one book
This is helpful! I found 2 of my books thanks to this extension.
muy fácil y rápido agregar libros a mi fable.
Was reading a book that wasnt in the fable selection but i managed to add it with this super easily!! Great tool to have
It works fine if you're only adding books from Goodreads or Amazon US. Any other site like Hardcover, Storygraph, or Kobo it just doesn't pick up. I recently got it to work with Amazon Japan but now it just stopped working on there so it's back to being useless for me.
Had an easy enough time adding a friends book that wasn't on Fable. I just opened the book in Amazon and clicked add to Fable.
doesnt work
Sometimes it has a hard time picking up data on the page, but generally I can get it to work, and its hugely helpful for getting books into my Fable that aren't there yet. Pro tip, if you're looking at a book on Amazon, expand the details section so the reader can pick up the ISBN and other data easier. Also, this struggles a LOT with audiobooks / Audible (especially if its only an audiobook and there is no print edition), so if you have the chance to go find a URL for the printed book instead, that's much easier.
used to work but not working anymore
Worked exactly as it says! I added the extension (you must do it on a desktop, not desktop mode on mobile device) and was able to add the books to my list from Amazon and Goodreads. You must be signed into your fable account in another tab. When you are on the page with the book you want to add (like on Amazon) click the extension button, select fable, and it will pop up in the window for you to add.
