Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

ResistGate puts friction between you and the sites that waste your time, so, when you do open them, it's a choice, not a reflex.

Most site blockers are easy to work around. A hard block stops you for ten seconds. You disable it. You're back on Reddit. ResistGate takes a different approach: rather than a hard wall, it creates a meaningful pause. You decide how much resistance you need. You decide when pushing through is actually worth it.

Students use it to protect study sessions from social media. Professional use it to guard deep work from reflexive browsing. If you've ever opened Instagram on autopilot and lost 45 minutes, this is for you.

How it works

Add any domain to your blocklist, reddit.com, youtube.com, x.com, or anything that pulls you off task. Every visit to a blocked site redirects to ResistGate's challenge page.

To unlock access, complete a short typing challenge. Copy a passage accurately, around 60 seconds. Long enough for the impulse to pass. Short enough that if you genuinely need the site, it's worth it. Temporary access opens for a window you control, then closes automatically. The next visit starts fresh.
