Wikipedia holds the world's knowledge. Wikiwand gives it the interface it deserves.
The extension works quietly in the background - every Wikipedia link opens in Wikiwand's clean, modern reader instead. No setup, no configuration. Just Wikipedia, the way it should look.
⭐🕒 Timelines: Every article with a story gets a visual timeline. Because some things are best understood from the very beginning.

No high contrast dark theme in free tier anymore... I struggle to read wikipedia with the new "Dark" mode with light gray as background and the "Black" mode is suddenly behind a paywall... https://wikiwand.com/un-omni does nothing. Just add an option to revert in Wikiwand settings. Not possible to justify article text anymore. A lot of features gone and a subscription paywall. Of course people aren't going to like it.
worst update ruined everything
With the new update I can't even open wiki links anymore, it just says "Internal Server Error." If you want to do an update at least make it functional and keep all the previous options for users. This is a DOWNGRADE not an update. Also don't give me this link "https://wikiwand.com/un-omni" like you copied pasted on other comments, I just want to open wiki links from google search results.
This new "Wikiwand Omni" (there doesn't seem a way to go back to the old) ruined everything because now the dark theme with warm brown colours is put behind a PAYWALL. Only plain white and plain black are available, my eyes are tortured again. Something that used to be free was just made an exclusive premium feature: maybe invent and monetise new functionality instead? Vanilla default Wikipedia released new theme functions recently and they have a similar plain black theme, I only used Wikiwand to have a dark BROWN background, so why should I continue using this?
Was amazing, now is awful unless using it's legacy mode by going to https://wikiwand.com/un-omni
Worst change ever. This was one of my favorite extensions, but the new design is just awful. You guys want to sell AI at all costs and are sacrificing the excellent work you were doing before. I uninstalled the extension after years of using it and recommending it, now it's terrible.
That UI change and all the extra AI stuff was an absolutely horrid decision. And now you've removed the large cover pictures? Is it crack?
"Wikiwand", it is truly magical how they made it look worse with the blink of an eye.
Most recent update completely ruined the layout. Please revert to the old format or include it as an option.
Please revert this change or make the old layout an option but this is worse. Features just stopped working all together.
