Works exactly as advertised. Using this to edit Github flavored MD. You must enable "Allow access to file URLs" option in the Chrome extension page to access your local files. Then click the Markdown Preview Plus button and choose more options, then select the github CSS. That will enable you to see your MD exactly as it would look like on Github. Great job, Great addon!

Works well. In Chrome 28 you need to go into Options->Extensions to enable access for local files.

Nice extension. Exactly what I want when editing a .md file in vim. BTW, there is a bug in v0.31. That is the GitHub theme does not work. I noticed that the css file name is GitHub.css (Capital H) but in the generated HTML, it try to use Github.css (lowercase h).

I would really love it if it could do Smartypants conversion as well. I would love HTML block elements to render like the Daring Fireball Dingus does, though.

Nice extension but github flavoured markdown would be a lot more useful.

Great extension (use the latest version of showdown.js) with nice options. You can enable the extension to work with local file by checking "Allow access to file URLs" in chrome://extensions
