🌄 Theme background
When Clear New Tab is installed and "Theme background" mode is selected, the backgrounds of themes you install from the Chrome Web Store will automatically download and appear in the new tab. If the theme background appears too large or small, you can fix it by setting "Background size" to "Cover the screen."

I LOVE IT. No more annoying google text. Just my amazing background. Highly recommend, as it really works!
Worked just fine until recently. Now just about every other time I open chrome it just defaults to a white screen. I need to re-input my images every time to get them back. Not sure what changed or why this is happening now, but before the most recent update it was working perfectly. Hoping this gets fixed soon because it was a very good extension before, but for now it's probably not worth downloading, at least until this gets fixed.
Worked for years. Author broke something that wasn't broken. Now it throws up a big red error banner. Uninstalled.
i have to uninstall. i'm using it in edge not chrome, but it used to work properly. after the update when i close the browser tab it immediately reopens to the clear new tab settings page, no matter what.
HI, in update v6.0.1 chrome i saw that everytime i open the Browser the settings tab of this extention show up, everytime. Fix it pls :3 To complete the 5 stars as an extention :3 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YAY i am so happy u fix this problem thanks and here is ure 5 stars uwu.
It's great but why does the Settings page open whenever I start Chrome? annoying
I can't seem to get it to work in the latest update. I set the mode to multiple backgrounds, have a few pictures uploaded and I can tinker with the other options as much as I want, all I see is a white background when opening a new tab. No error message. What do you think I'm doing wrong? Could you create a guide or something, that would be helpful. So far I really liked this extention. Edit: I fixed it by reinstalling the app. Now I feel like an idiot :D
since the latest update, opening chrome defaults to this extension's settings page. anyone got a fix? edit: it now fixed :)
