🌄 Theme background
When Clear New Tab is installed and "Theme background" mode is selected, the backgrounds of themes you install from the Chrome Web Store will automatically download and appear in the new tab. If the theme background appears too large or small, you can fix it by setting "Background size" to "Cover the screen."

i love it it was excellent and easy to use
I didn't actually thought it'd be this great. I love how they allow you to put backgrounds as much as you want plus many more options. It's my first time giving feedback and ngl I had to bcs this is just too awesome:>> Thank you!<33

Extension continually fails in the sense that when turning on the PC and logging in, what was saved in Clear New Tab has totally disappeared and has to be put back. Have had to do this literally a dozen times and so I am uninstalling "Clear New Tab"
Loads blank page with lots of options for the background. Unfortunately, cannot find how to set it up to use google theme backgrounds. Anyways, does a great job

It's awesome. Allowed me get rid of all the clutter I hated and have the exact background and look for my new tab. Now, when I open a new tab, I smile and breath fresh air instead of getting annoyed. Thank you!
