Font Fingerprint Defender is a lite extension that let you easily hide your real font fingerprint by reporting a random fake value and protect your privacy.
This add-on does NOT block the fingerprint, instead, it simply adds a small noise to the actual fingerprint and "renews" it every time you visit a website or reload a page. It is important to note that, this add-on does not have any settings or options to adjust. Simply add it to your browser and start surfacing the internet. If you want to test this add-on, please visit a website that show your fingerprint (i.e. webbrowsertools.com/font-fingerprint/). Every time you reload the page, you will see a new fake fingerprint.

Essa extensão não está fazendo o que promete. Funcionava antes, agora não funciona mais. Eu testei muito usando o site " deviceinfo.me ". This extension is not doing what it promises. It worked before, now it doesn't work anymore. I tested a lot using the " deviceinfo.me " website.
I see that it actually WORKS!!! But it requires that Chrome browser is up to date and shouldn't be too old. Most people use outdated chrome browsers and need to update it.
AFAIK, it spoofs what it is supposed to. I dislike tabs opening with Font Fingerprint Defender (FFD) ads. FFD just opened the tab in the browser and first line says "Advertisement", and rest is all about FFD. I just spotted it, had I known when I clicked 'Report" was going to handed off to Google, I would have stopped there. WARN people when you're going to send them to the king of stalkers. I and I am certain others, use FFD as a defense against all the SMIRC ers and that does NOT preclude Google. Not donating, may just clean out FFD and make certain nothing left and then take a shower.
