The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

I STILL don't care about cookies is better, use that instead of this Avast spyware.
War mal gut, leider lässt es einige Webseiten mittlerweile kaputt zurück. Hab ewig gebraucht herauszufinden, dass dieses AddOn der Verursacher war. Die Websites zu Mediamarkt und Saturn etwa sind nicht mehr vernünftig bedienbar, wenn dieses AddOn aktiv ist.

Didn't seem to make much difference. Using Windows 10 (don't think that makes a difference but JFYI). I'm also in the US (maybe it works better in other countries).

tried and best solution.
Good, but doesn't work on all sites, for example: storececotec.de
It does prevent the annoying cookie pop-ups but sadly it also prevents videos playing on websites.
