The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Wirklich Krass wie in der heutigen Zeit nur wenigen Leuten auffällt, dass die Privatsphäre der Endkonsumenten für kapitalistische Zwecke total missbraucht wird. Es wäre toll ein Script zu haben das 3rd Party Cookies schon beim Ladevorgang der Webseite komplett wegblockt und nur die technisch Notwendigen zulässt, damit erst garnicht die Möglichkeit besteht in diesem Zeitraum bis zur Zustimmung die Cookies einfach trotzdem abzufragen, wie z.b. bei einem AddBlocker.

Works flawlessly in most cases. On some media sites, ignoring cookies will result in videos not playing.
I love this extension. Never seen a window, others complaining about. Even if I would see it, I would simply close it. It's one second of your life. Entitled morons, who have never paid for anything, because mommy buys everything, whining about why their free stuff puts them into a one second situation, which is barely an inconvenience. These people are the reason, why reviewing apps should be tied to IQ or at elast developers could rate reviewers as well. Anyway, the extension is very good and I love it and use it since the beginning on all of my computers. However I recognize lately that some websites, which have a popup window about accepting cookies, simply freeze under a grey layer and I have to disable the extension to be able to go on with the website. Unfortunately it happens more often lately.
