The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Just installed - so far so good, but when I go to (e.g.) economist.com, I now get a banner at the bottom very much like the cookies banner saying "You are seeing this message because ad or script blocking software is interfering with this page. Disable any ad or script blocking software, then reload this page." Is this expected?
Die DSGVO schadet leider mehr, als dass sie nützt. Die Papierflut beim Abschluss von Verträgen wird immer größer. Wer liest sich das noch alles durch? Den Umgang mit Cookies kann man auch grundsätzlich im Browser einstellen. Durch die Pflicht zur Einzelfall-Zustimmung wird das leider konterkariert. So ist man dankbar für ein Tool, welches zumindest potentiell ebenfalls ein Risiko darstellt.

This Extension Has Access to Your Browser History. Check it in Extensions>Details. Be careful. If this app accesses your browsing history, you must trust it to protect that browsing history. It seems a major privacy concern. Daniel seems humble and helpful. It would go a long way to explain why access to browsing history is required.
Thank you so much for this great extension, it's incredibly useful. One thought that I had when I briefly read about how it works: Regarding those few cookies that cannot just be blocked by the extension and have to be accepted, is there a way to instead have a pop up box notifying the user about it, so that we can still decide our selves whether to accept it or not? I would personally like to completely avoid websites that don't give me the freedom to choose which cookies to accept and which not. Thank you in advance for your reply!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD! This extension may have been useful before but now, multiple times a day, it takes you to a web page of the developer of the extension that is simply a page for 'Donate to the author'. This is SPAM, DO NOT DOWNLOAD
