The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

really effective!, chances getting a cookie notice are very low, for me.
Boy, I'm glad this extension exists! I was sick of websites taking up the entire screen and locking the page just to mention about cookies, where they could've just wrote a simple one-line stating "We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience". Those websites just go over the top when there was no reason for doing so at all.

It does what it should do but it also seems to stuck browsers (I tried Google Chrome and Opera) at the start.
Does what it says on the tin. Would have been better if the EU had not started all this pointless nonsense in the first place.
A good concept but I had to uninstall it as it broke some websites (some sites constantly reloaded, and on sites that disabled scrolling until you clicked "accept" it didn't enable the scroll so it was stuck)
I'm a new user, and I can't immediately tell from the description of the extension whether (a) it just accepts all cookies or (b) it just rejects them all. I think it's probably (a), but this should be made explicitly clear to users.
